Klimat is located on East 7th Street within the cozy neighborhood of the East Village. Not only is it my friends and my personal favorite, but if you’re a beer lover like myself, this place will make you feel at home. Not only is their beer selection exceptional, but they also have an exquisite wine collection to pair with their Eastern European fare. Their staff is friendly, attractive and well versed in the menu. The biggest note on Klimat is their atmosphere. It’s small, cozy and comfortable. A perfect date spot. Once you’re in the door look for Mike behind the bar, you can’t miss the dashing Chinese-Australian. If you’re throwing a party, reserve the downstairs Wine Cellar Lounge for a truly cozy experience.
